How long is the Executive MBA programme, and what’s the format?
This part-time 28-month programme is designed to fit around your career, with face-to-face classes held at Cranfield over three consecutive days every month. The structure allows you to maintain a work-life balance while achieving an MBA that will unlock your potential.
Is this programme open to international students?
Yes, international students are welcome, but please note that monthly travel to our Cranfield campus is required and not included as part of your course fees, as the programme is delivered in person.
Can I tailor the programme to my career goals?

From start to finish, our dedicated teams are here to support you. You’ll benefit from a Course Director, your own diverse learning team, and Student and Academic Support (SAS) lead, all designed to enhance your learning and leadership journey. You will also have the opportunity to be matched with Executive Coaches, provided by Grant Thornton, in the second part of the course. These consist of six sessions over 13 months designed to soundboard your aspirations and unlock your potential.

Where is Cranfield situated?
The location of Cranfield is ideally situated on the Oxford-Cambridge arc with excellent transport links (train, motorway and airport) and Milton Keynes and Bedford a short drive away.
What’s the time commitment, and how are classes structured?
Classes take place over three consecutive days each month (Thursday to Saturday). In addition to these sessions, you can expect around 10 hours of individual study per week.
Can I defer modules due to illness or other exceptional circumstances?
Yes. If illness or an exceptional circumstance prevents you from attending, you can defer a module to the next cohort. Simply notify our Student and Academic Support team, and they’ll guide you through the process.
Will I have networking opportunities during the programme?
Absolutely. You’ll connect with a diverse cohort and access a vast network of professionals, industry leaders, academics and alumni. This network is an exceptionally valuable resource for the aspiring Leader and will undoubtedly support you throughout your career. Application and Admissions
When is the application deadline, and is there a fee?
Applications closes 1 month before the programme start date, and there is no application fee.
What if I don’t have a degree?
If you don’t hold a degree but have substantial professional achievements or leadership potential, we encourage you to apply. You’ll have the chance to showcase your skills during the interview process.
Are interviews held in person?
Currently, all interviews are conducted online.
When will I know if my application is successful?
You’ll receive regular updates, with most applications processed within 4-8 weeks.
Fees and Financing
What is the cost of the programme, and are there instalment options?
The Executive MBA costs £27,650. Yes, we offer a flexible payment plan, with instalments due over two years, starting with a deposit upon acceptance. Candidates should also allow for additional expenses which include:
- The cost of an International Business trip (if the learner chooses to participate in this module) which is currently priced at c. £3,000.
- The cost of technological equipment (e.g. laptop, other equipment as deemed necessary) at the student’s discretion.
