Background

Dr Georgios Pexas is a Lecturer in Environmental Sustainability Assessment at the Cranfield Environment Centre, Â鶹´«Ã½AV. An environmental biologist by training, has undertaken MSc and PhD studies in geoinformatics and life cycle assessment for production systems in the primary sector. His research vision in Cranfield is to advance theory and methods for holistic, dynamic, and spatiotemporally relevant sustainability assessment, such as enhancing consequential Life Cycle Assessment frameworks through integration with novel modelling approaches powered by artificial intelligence. To achieve this, his work focuses on diverse case-studies within the food, water, energy, transportation, and service-provision nexuses.
